Agri microtechnology

The problem

In order to improve productivity the excessive and indiscriminate use of chemical agents in agriculture has led to soil deterioration, degradation of agro-ecosystems, environmental pollution due to the absorption of the compound by the soil and the resistance to pesticides of insects and pathogens. Furthermore, less than 0.1% of the pesticides applied in the field actually achieve their objective, due to only partial absorption by plant species.

Our technology

Agro-microtechnology ensures a controlled release of agrochemical products with specific targeting for an enhanced resistance to plant diseases, an effective use of nutrients and therefore an improved plant growth.

Nanomnia has started collaborations for the development of natural fertilizers with organic nanoparticles for crops and plants nutrition. Encapsulation of nutrients increases and improves their physical and chemical properties, reducing leaching and consequently increasing absorption and efficiency.
